Doris Jean Weaver Henson, 85, passed away on June 27, 2020 at her home.
A native of Shelby, N.C., daughter of the late Clement D. and Minnie Lee Haynes Weaver, she was a member of Horizon Church where she was involved with the children?s ministry.
Surviving are her husband, Lonnie Henson of the home; one son, Michael Barry Justice (Lynn) of Taylors; one daughter, Donna Teresa Jones (Michael) of Greenville; one brother, Norman Weaver (Betty) of Gaffney and five grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Melissa Jones, Kara Pinson, Kris Thompson and Kelli Thompson.
Mrs. Henson was predeceased by two brothers, L.B. Weaver and Richard "Bub" Weaver and one sister, Madgie Edmondson.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2020 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens conducted by Pastor Justin Davis.
The family will greet friends after the graveside service, keeping in mind the social distancing guidelines.
The family is at the home of Melissa Jones.
