Dorothy Mae Gosnell Bowers White, 82, formerly of Greer, died August 11, 2014 at Autumn Care.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Pinckney and Cora Pittman Gosnell, she was a retired employee of Stone Mfg., and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one grandson, Jeremy I. Loftis of Taylors; one son-in-law, Eddie Powell of Greer; one brother, Theo Gosnell of Landrum; one sister, Ruby Gosnell Perry of Travelers Rest and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. White was predeceased by a daughter Sandra Powell and son James B. Bowers, Jr.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Highland Baptist Church cemetery conducted by Rev. Malcolm Lance.

The families are at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church, 3271 Highway 414, Taylors, S.C. 29687.
