Elda Ruth Peters McMakin, 84, of 820 Cumberland Drive, died May 4, 2014 at her home.
A native of Alexander City, AL, daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel Brooks Peters, she was a retired employee of Greenville County School District and attended Victor United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Dennis Earl McMakin of the home; one son, Bruce R. McMakin of Taylors and one sister, Myrtle Estelle Crome of Jackson, TN.
