Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Wardlaw Belk, 78, passed away August 31, 2017.

A native of McCormick, SC, a daughter of the late David and Florence Burgess Wardlaw, she was a retired educator with thirty-three years of teaching, having taught at Paris and Tigerville Elementary Schools. She was a member of Lee Road United Methodist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Walter B. Belk of the home; one daughter, Leslie Winter (Steve) of Greer; one son, Jeffrey Belk (Nathalie) of Simpsonville; one sister, Florence Ellisor of Boiling Springs; and six grandchildren, Christopher Winter (Lauren), Megan Friend (Sean), Jonathan Winter, Reid Winter, Weston Belk and Matthew Belk.

She was also predeceased by one brother, David Wardlaw.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Franklin Buie.

The family will greet friends following the memorial service.

The family is at their respective homes.
