Elizabeth Fisher Ponder, 94, widow of J.C. Ponder, passed away July 23, 2021.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Reuben John and Annie Mae Henson Fisher, she was a retired educator with Greenville County and Greensboro County School Systems, a member of the Camellia Garden Club, and Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one brother, Charles Fisher (Bertha) of Greer; one sister, Lannie Durham (Bruce) of Greer; and one sister-in-law, Carol Fisher of Greer.

She was also predeceased by one brother, Thomas Fisher.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Mark Smith.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service.

Burial will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Jerry Jamerson.

The family is at their respective homes.
