Ernest Leo "Tony" Turner, 97, died November 14, 2015.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Talmage and Bertha Howard Turner, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, a retired air conditioner technician and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Marceil Campbell Turner of the home; three sons, Michael Turner (Lucy), Steven "Tank" Turner (Brenda) all of Greer, and Don Turner (Danna) of Taylors; a daughter, Marie Helle (Jet) of Landrum; one sister, Ruth Henson of Landrum; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Turner was predeceased by three brothers, Carl Turner, Leonard Turner and Willard Turner, one sister, Agnes Crain and one grandson, Alex Joseph Dickerson.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday at Fairview Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Wilson Nelson and Dr. Tom Burns.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of his son, Michael Turner, 3670 Pennington Road, Greer, SC 29651.
