Evelyn Greer Satterfield, 92, of Greer, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all those that she met, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ola Greer.

She was retired from the Greenville County Family Court. She was formerly an active member of Pelham First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school to adults and children, was an active participate in all areas of the church and a faithful member of the choir. She was presently a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son, Stephen Satterfield (Suzanne) of Greer; three daughters, Joan Belcher of Greer, Debra Forrester (Steve) of Seneca and Rachel Dillard (Ron) of Greer; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, J. A. Odom and her second husband, Harold Satterfield, Jr., one son, Joel Odom, one son-in-law, Darrell Belcher, two brothers, Dan Greer and Paul Greer and three sisters, Esther Jones, Lois McJunkin and Dot Howard.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Eddie Leopard and Rev. Ron Dillard.

Burial will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Friday at the mortuary prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Satterfield, Drake Davis, John Odom, Chad Forrester, Matt Dillard, Tony Howard and Matt Blount.

Memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church Foundation for the Future, 1300 Locust Hill Road, Greer, SC 29651.

The family will be at their respective homes.
