Evelyn Pittman Burrell, 82, widow of James Burrell, was led by God's hands into her eternal rest on August 25, 2016.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Haskell and Elsie Hughes Pittman, she retired from North Greenville University and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Jamie Burrell of the home and Nathan "Bull" Howard (Dink) of Duncan; a daughter, Sheila Kelca (Mike) of Hilton Head Island; one sister, Audrey Bryant of Taylors; five grandchildren, Katie, Clay, Mikayla, Michael and Milana; and two great-grandsons, Jack and Charlie.

Mrs. Burrell was predeceased by one sister, Doris Aittaniemi.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Highland Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Malcolm Lance.

Pallbearers will be Milton Pittman, Clay Howard, Chris McCarter, and Mike Kelca.

Honorary escort will be the Ruth Howard Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 2:00-3:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.

The family is at the home.
