Floy Inez Forrester Sloan, 94, wife of the late Ben Sloan, passed away May 18, 2024.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Tommy and Lillie Campbell Forrester, she was a retired employee of Springs Industries and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Kenneth Southerlin of Taylors; a son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Angie Sloan of Greer; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Craig (Angela), Christy Pitts (Clyde), Kenneth Southerlin, Jr. (Stephanie), Corrie Healy (Dave), David Craig (Kim), Krystal White (John), Preston Sloan (Brittany), and Timothy Craig (Ciera); 19 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Elaine Craig, three brothers, Ralph Forrester, Cecil Forrester, and Quain Forrester and four sisters, Ina Kemp, Edith Seay Arms, Effie Stewart, and Ruth Ellen F. Clayton.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ted Conwell, Rev. Mark Smith, Rev. Joe Seay, and Rev. Eric Sloan. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.

The family is at their respective homes.
