Helen Mae Griffith Edwards, 80, died June 16, 2015 at Oakleaf Assisted Living.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Linnie Maude Hill Griffith, she was a retired seamstress and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Lindsey Woodie Edwards of Greer; a son, Lindsey W. Edwards, Jr. (Judy Laster) of Woodruff; a daughter, Theresa E. Mason (Bobby) of Greer; two brothers, Grady Griffith of Greer and Harold Griffith of Simpsonville; two sisters, Louise Atkins of Greer and Dot Holcombe of Taylors; six grandchildren, Stacy Reid (Chuck) of Greer, Chris Edwards (Rita) of Greer, Casey Phillips (Mike) of Simpsonville, Lindsey Thomas (Mark) of Simpsonville, Philip Mason (Ashley) of Mauldin and Lauren Kingstro (Paul) of Greer; and ten great-grandchildren, Justin Reid, Austin Reid, Isaiah Edwards, Isabella Edwards, Ethan Phillips, Carter Phillips, Elijah Thomas, Zane Kingstro, Cruz Kingstro and Nancy Mason.

Mrs. Edwards was predeceased by two brothers, James Griffith and Clarence Griffith.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. John Elmore.

Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 2:00-3:45 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Theresa Mason.
