James Bryson Wood, 69, passed away on September 3, 2017.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Willard Bryson and Callie Walls Wood, he was in the S.C. Army National Guard for 25 years, a retired employee of Baldor Electric and attended New Covenant Fellowship.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, June Delores Gilliard Wood of the home; one son, Joseph Bryson Wood (Angela) of Greer; one daughter, Pamela Denise Page (Keith) of Campobello; one sister, Beth Smoak (Allen) of Greer; six grandchildren, Kenneth Ramey, Bryson Wood, Christian Wood, Samuel Page, Alyssa Page and Autumn Page Davis and one great-grandchild, Kynadee.

Mr. Wood was predeceased by one grandson, Andrew Page.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Keith Hannon and Rev. Larry Padgett.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park with military rites.

Pallbearers will be Joey Hendrix, Tim Fuller, Reggie Genobles, Ray Farmer and Terry Lindsey.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.
