Jannings Palmer Dill, 92, widower of Elizabeth Bradley Dill, passed away May 4, 2017 at Ashlan Village.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Elford and Hattie Clayton Dill, a retired agent with Life of Virginia Ins. Co., a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Dale Brannon of Simpsonville; three grandchildren, Lori Fleury, Russell Brannon and Lindsay Santisteban and four great-grandchildren, Madison Brannon, Jordyn Santisteban, Ethan Brannon and Parker Brannon.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Holly Springs Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Tim Clark and Rev. Henry Stanford.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Campbell, Cliff Cochran, Russell Brannon, Sammy Dill, Bobby Dill and Rigoberto Villegas.
Honorary escort will be the Jannings Dill Sunday School Class of the church.
Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of the daughter, Janice Brannon.
