Joan Pittman Hendrix, 82, died September 23, 2016.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late John Virgil and Lillie Jane Peace Pittman, she was a retired employee of Mac Shor Classic and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Tim Cooper (Tammy) of Greer and Carroll Cooper (Gina) of Inman; one sister, Carolyn Bramlett of Greer; three grandchildren, Travis, Lee and Heather Cooper; three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Luke and Elin; and a special niece, Kelly King.

Mrs. Hendrix was predeceased by two brothers, Cecil Pittman and Keith Pittman and one sister, Velma Oliver.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Terry Greene.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Honorary escorts will be Jordan High School Class of 1952 and Mary Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 5:30-7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her son, Tim Cooper.
