John Frederick Boehm, 68, son, husband, and father, died on Friday, July 25, 2014 in Greer, SC.

John was born September 22, 1945 in Sebring, OH to Elizabeth Boehm and the late Albert Boehm.

John was a graduate of McKinley High School. He received an undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University and a Masters Degree from the University of South Carolina.

He was a beloved teacher for 43 years (40 of them at Spartanburg County District 5 Schools), co-owner of Banner Motors, and a member at Taylors First Baptist Church and Co-Ed 17 Life Group.

Surviving:

John is survived by his wife of 46 years Annette Jones Boehm, his son John Jason Boehm, his daughter Corey Amanda Boehm, his mother Audrey Elizabeth Boehm, his brother-in-law Roland (Charlene) Jones of Spartanburg, and sister-in-law Marguerite (Bobby) Cook of Little River.

Funeral Services:

Arrangements are through Wood Mortuary, 300 West Poinsett St., Greer, SC 29650.

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Taylors First Baptist Church, 200 West Main St., Taylors SC, followed by a service at 3:30 p.m.

Burial will immediately follow at Taylors First Baptist Church Cemetery.
