Johnny Claude Bennefield, 61, died March 3, 2016 at the McCall Hospice House.

A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late William Hulett and Estelle Harris Bennefield, a retired truck driver with FedEx Freight and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Lisa Thompson Bennefield of the home; two sons, Tyler Bennefield of Greer and Justin Bennefield (Cheryl) of Marietta; one sister, Sue Taylor (Rev. Jerry Taylor) of Moore; and three grandchildren, Justin, Mikayla and Talia Bennefield.

He was also predeceased by a brother, Lester Bennefield.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Jerry Taylor.

Visitation will be held 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of Brenda and Tank Turner.
