Kathy Elaine Smith Swaney, 74, passed away August 23, 2022.

A native of Reidville, S.C., daughter of the late Robert Edward and Gertrude Hattie Sizemore Swaney, she was a registered nurse and a member of Victor Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Joe Huntsman of the home; two daughters, Misty S. Hawkins of Columbia and Tanya Allyson Piergiovanni (Israel) of Greer; one son, Lee Steve William Swaney, Jr., of Greer; one brother, Wayne Smith (Deborah) of Reidville; 11 grandchildren, J.D., Cortney, Emily, Hunter, Meghan, Andrew, Ella Grace, Kathrine, Novalee, Liam, and Alora; and six great-grandchildren, Rylan, Kason, Shiloh, Luna Claire, Sasha, and Sabrina.

Mrs. Swaney was predeceased by her first husband, Steve William Swaney, Sr.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., August 30, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Rob Williams.

Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. at The Wood Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Lee Swaney, Israel Piergiovanni, Scott Dilung, Charlie Swaney, Drew Piergiovanni, and Spanky Swaney.

The family will be at their respective homes.
