Linda Whitener Taylor, 77, widow of Max Ray Taylor, passed away January 3, 2020.

A native of Newberry, daughter of the late Arlo and Polly Falls Whitener, she was a homemaker and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Cassie Parson (Adam) of Calhoun, Georgia and Tracy Taylor of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania; a son, Craig Taylor (Tammy) of Blythewood; two brothers, Larry Whitener of Cayce and Rudy Whitener of Inman; one sister, Gloria Whitener of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, T.J. Parson, Austen Parson, Lacey Harris and Grant Taylor; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by one sister, Debbie Liner.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Taylors First Baptist Church Chapel, conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church in the gathering space behind the chapel.
