Lucille Gilliam Smith, 89, widow of Rev. A. Howard Smith, died April 22, 2016 at Regional Hospice Home.

A native of Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late James Webb Gilliam and Sudie Gambrell Gilliam, a retired tax preparer and member of Davis Chapel Wesleyan Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Gene Howard Smith (Barbara) of Gastonia, N.C; one daughter, Susan Lucille Smith of Woodruff; and one grandchild, Lauren Smith of Gastonia, N.C.

She was also predeceased by six brothers, Millard, Clyde, Charlie, Alfred, her twin Louis, and Carl Gilliam.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Ron Hamilton.

Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
