Margaret Marsh Clifford Lewis was born September 16, 1938, to the late Bert Elbert Marsh and Mary Lee Ayers Marsh. Margaret met and was married to the love of her life, Mark Edward Clifford, Sr., for 46 years. "Where one was, you always saw the other ? Mark & Margaret."

After the passing of Mark in 1999, she was blessed to find love once again, with Jim Lewis, until his passing in 2011.

Margaret was the secretary to the president of Campbell Soup Company in Sumter, S.C., for several years. She was also a real estate broker and equine insurance broker for over 10 years and ran an equine boarding facility in her younger years.

She grew up around and with a love of animals and rode and showed Tennessee Walking Horses alongside her family for many years. She passed this passion and work ethic that came with rural farm life on to her children and grandchildren.
There was no place she would rather be than on the back of her horses and she was always a country girl at heart

Margaret was blessed with many talents and excelled at them all; painting, sculpting, writing, and she had the honor of being featured in a Rock and Gem magazine showcasing her as an accomplished jewelry maker.

She loved children, which was highlighted by her storytelling to entertain them, whether with her own grandchildren or friends' children. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and instilled a love of God and family as part of her lasting legacy.
