Marion "Straw" Hawkins, 91, passed away January 6, 2024.

A native of Greer, son of the late William R. and Ressie Bagwell Hawkins, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired employee from Lyman Printing & Finishing, owner of Straw's Gym, fan of Game Fowl, and member of Victor United Methodist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Connie Satterfield Hawkins of the home, a son, Chris and his wife Linda of Greer, a daughter, Cindy of Woodlands, Texas, two grandchildren, Lee Dumas (Marne), Jason Herman (Kristen), and three great grandchildren, Anna, Harold and Ransom.

He was predeceased by five brothers, James, Fred, Ned, Dan and Frank Hawkins and four sisters, Mary Cannon, Middie Hawkins, Earline Smith and Marie Howard.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Lee Dumas and Kenny Howard and Jason Herman.
