Marjorie Sawyer Dobbins, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 5, 2017.

A native of Laurens County, daughter of the late Charlie and Lillie Johnson Sawyer, she was a retired administrative specialist at The S.C. Department of Youth Services and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Richard T. Dobbins of the home; one daughter, Pam Green (Larry) of Lyman; two sons, Phil Dobbins (Tammy) of Greer and Tim Dobbins (Ronda) of Simpsonville; one brother, Dan Sawyer of Spartanburg; two sisters, Gwen Stephens and Juanita Dillard both of Spartanburg; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Burnsview Baptist Church conducted Rev. Ray Hatcher and Rev. Tim Huckaby.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.

The family is at the home.
