Merzie Lee Sammons Styles, 88, of 1306 Reid School Road, widow of James Frank Styles, died January 18, 2016 at her home.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Ernest E. and Lilie Crumley Sammons, she was a retired employee of Piedmont Shirt and an active member of Pebble Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter, Mary (Dave) Riddle of Honea Path; four sisters, Margaret Bailey, Willie Hughes both of Taylors, Freddie Jameson and Grace Gunter both of Greenville; one grandchild, Amy Riddle and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Styles was predeceased by two brothers, Elbert Sammons and Joe Sammons.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Pebble Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Bob Norman and Deacon Jeff Mace.

Burial will follow in Jackson Grove United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday at Pebble Creek Baptist Church.

The families are at their respective homes.

The family would like to thank her sister, Margaret Bailey her caregiver and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care.
