Michael Austin Haas, Sr., 74, husband of Marilyn Rufty Haas of 115 Ayersdale Drive, died April 14, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Haas grew up in New Jersey and was a son of the late Charles H. and Eleanor Sampson Haas, a retired employee of Pump South, and a 1960 graduate of N.C. State University
Surviving:
Surviving also are a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine Dunn and Todd Britton of Denver, CO; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Haas, Jr. and Michele of Greenville; a son-in-law, Greg Urich of Taylors; a sister, Audrey Shultz of Parma, OH and three grandchildren, Ashli Haas, Olivia Britton, and Ella Britton.
Mr. Haas was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Elizabeth Urich.
Funeral Services:
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary chapel, conducted by Rev. Arthur Holt.
Visitation will be held 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
The family is at the home.
It is requested that flowers be omitted and memorials made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Suite A, Greenville, S.C. 29615.
