Michael Lee "Mike" Gravley, 69, of Greer, won his battle with cancer on November 12, 2023, as he was ushered into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A native of Greer, son of the late Leon Gravley and Phyllis Mullins Gravley Henderson, he was the owner of Shoptops, LLC and a member of His Vineyard.

A 1980 member of the PGA Tour, Mike regained his amateur status and won dozens of championships, including being the only golfer to win the Pickens and Spartanburg County Amateurs, Festival of Flowers, and Greenville County Amateur, the latter of which he won a record of four times.

He won the Greater Greer Open 10 times, numerous club titles, several South Carolina and Carolinas Golf Association Championships and played in multiple USGA National Championships. He was a fierce competitor, but friendships were greater than victories, as he would always be first in line to say "well done" to the winner.

Mike will forever be remembered for his love of the Lord, and his love for his family and friends. He was a man full of life and laughter, a loyal friend to so many.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife and soulmate, Lori Leonhardt Gravley; son, Michael Gravley II (Korina) of Jacksonville, North Carolina; daughter, Susan Floyd (Paul) of Greer; brother, Robbie Gravley (Josie) of Greer; three granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023, at His Vineyard conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly and Rev. Allen Elder.

Burial will follow in Vaughn Family Cemetery. Casual or golf attire is encouraged to be worn at the service.

Visitation will be held 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the church.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers, Mike and Lori have requested that donations be made to Mike's favorite charity golf tournament organization, Meyer Center for Special Children, 1132 Rutherford Rd., Greenville, South Carolina 29609.
