Nathalie Mohun LaTora, 92, widow of John LaTora, passed away February 20, 2018.
Nathalie left Taylors, SC to take a job at the White House under President Roosevelt?s Administration.
This is where she met the love of her life, Edward "Eddie" Joseph Mohun who worked for the U.S. Government Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., and he is the father of their two wonderful daughters, Pamela and Debbie.
Edward passed away in November 1992.
Later she met her beloved second husband, John LaTora who is deceased.
A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Cleveland Hightower and Alta Ethel Crain Hightower, a retired employee of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company and was of the Catholic Faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Carter (Rob) of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Debbie Graham (Donald) of Baldwinville, Massachusetts; one sister, Delores Boroughs of Taylors, SC; two grandchildren, Adam Carter and Ryan Carter; and three sisters-in-law, Lucille Lockaby Hightower and Marjorie Burns Hightower both of Greenville, SC and Margie Perry Hightower of Taylors, SC.
Visitation will be held 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.
Inurnment to be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Rockville, MD., at a later date.
