Peggy Vaughn Howitt, 82, widow of Foster Parker Howitt, passed away on March 8, 2018.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late William Day and Lois Smith Vaughn, she was a retired employee of Sears, a member of the Order of The Eastern Star and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son, Foster Mark Howitt (Sherry) of Greer; one daughter, Susan H. Hinshaw of Sierra Vista, AZ; one sister, Carolyn Thompson of Bellevue, WA; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Howitt was predeceased by one son, Timothy Scott Howitt; one son-in-law, Matthew Hinshaw and one brother, William Lee Vaughn.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Remembrance Chapel conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Remembrance Chapel.

The family is at the home of the son, Mark Howitt.
