Perry Franklin Posey, 71, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Posey was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Frank and Pauline Smith Posey, a member of Apalache Baptist Church and was a US Army veteran.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Nora Posey; two sons, Donnie Oliver (Sherri) of Greer and Mike Oliver (Beth) of Colorado; one sister, Martha High of Greer; one brother, Prue Posey of Liberty; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; as well as many friends and people that loved him.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Apalache Baptist Church. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
