Plyna Mae "Polly" Poole Arms, 82, wife of the late Bobby Joe "Dit" Arms, passed away December 20, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Greer, S.C., daughter of the late Doyle and Plyna Pace Poole, she was a retired teacher for Greenville County School District where all of her students were referred to as Arms' Angels, and a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her daughter, Pam Farmer (Benjie) of Greer; four brothers, James Poole (Phyllis) of Greer, Rev. Carroll Poole (Pat) of Hendersonville, N.C., Lester Poole (Francis) of Honea Path, and Donnie Poole (Sherri) of Taylors; four sisters, Carolyn Dill of California, Reba Walton of Maryland, Elaine Chasteen (Jimmy) of Taylors, and Margie Atkins (Mike) of Taylors; and one grandchild, Ashley Farmer.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2022, at The Wood
Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. David Boyter, Rev. Jackie Wray, and Rev. Carroll Poole.

Visitation will be held 9:45-10:45 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary.
