Polly Elizabeth Turner Mahaffey Davis, 88, wife of the late Bobby Lewis Mahaffey, passed away March 16, 2023.

A native of Greer, daughter of the late Horace Calvin Turner, Sr. and Lola Forrester Turner, she was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Sheila Williams and Fredia Snow (Erick) all of Greer; three sons, Frederick Mahaffey (Susan) of Taylors, Jim Davis (Mark Loucks) of Greer, and Tracy Davis (Debbie Cates) of Crossville, Tenn., one sister-in-law, Ruby Turner of Lyman; six grandchildren, Jeffery Upton (Lorri Marston), Kenna Sanders (Matthew), Miranda Gwinn (Lance), Heather Warren (Wayne), Devin Snow, and Ericka Snow (Matt); eight-great-grandchildren, Lauren Welborn (Turner), Taylor Upton (Manny), Kolby Cox (Lyxi), Morgan Upton, Colin Warren, Addison Gwinn, Gavin Warren, and Maddie Sanders; one great-great-grandchild, Emmanuel Upton; and one special cousin ?sister?, Mary Harrison (Jack) of Greer.

She was also predeceased by one son-in-law, Ray Williams; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Carlos Turner (Barbara), James Turner (Betty), and Horace C. Turner, Jr.; and one sister and brother-in-law, Margaret McGee (Gene).

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly and Rev. Michael Turner. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Upton, Kolby Cox, Matthew Sanders, Devin Snow, Manny Verdejo, and Matt Lukomske.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Monday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home of the daughter, Fredia Snow.
