Preston Boyd Johnson, 70, died January 27, 2016 at his home.

A native of Greenville County, he was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, a retired employee of AAA Cooper and a member of Washington Baptist Church.

Mr. Johnson was Vice President of D.A.V. of South Carolina, a mason and Past Master of Mt. Horeb Lodge.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou McGowan Johnson of the home; a daughter, Anissa Rene Johnson of Greer; a son, Gregory Brandon Johnson (Stacie) of Florence; a grandson, Tallon Johnson; a sister, Rebecca Galloway of Alpharetta, Georgia; and adopted son, Dave Taylor of Taylors.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Washington Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Drew Hines.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens with full military honors.

Honorary escorts will be members of the D.A.V. Chapter 39, member of Greer High School Class of 1963 and Faith Riders.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
