Preston Gwyn Baker, Jr., 89, passed away March 26, 2024.

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, son of the late Preston Gwyn Baker, Sr. and Wilma Inez Houser Baker, he was a United States Army Veteran, retired residential contractor and a member of First Church of God Taylors.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Betty Jane Childers Baker of Greenville, South Carolina; three sons, Preston Micharl Baker (Diana) of San Antonio, Florida, Edwin Gwyn Baker of Chesnee, South Carolina, and Jeffrey Propes Baker (Noelle) of Durham, North Carolina; one brother, David Baker of Lilburn, Georgia; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Baker was predeceased by three sisters.
