Raymond Bobo Howell, 77, widower of Linda Gail Arms Howell, passed away Sept. 3, 2018.
A native of Taylors, son of the late Melvin D. and Sally Ree Turner Howell, he was a retired employee of Duke Energy and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid golfer and a member of Legacy Pines Golf Club where he enjoyed playing with all his special golf friends.
Surviving:
Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law, Debra Berryman of Taylors and Sonda and Buck Buchanan of Dallas, NC; son-in-law, Rick Henderson of Kings Mountain, NC; two brothers, Kenneth Howell (Rachel) of Greer and Fred Howell of Belmont, NC; six grandchildren, Wesley (Elizabeth), Amanda (Brad), Jake (Chelsa), Jessica (Elvis), Lindsey (Brandon) and Emelyne; 12 great-grandchildren, Brianna, Kali, Skyler, Jayden, Tenley, Maggie, Anthony, Savanna, Sophia, Aria, Leeland and Luca; special friends, Donnie Cash and Steven "Wooley" Huffstickler; and his loving pet dog, Molly.
Mr. Howell was predeceased by one daughter, Laura Howell Henderson and a grandson, Brandon Berryman.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ronnie Bowers. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.
