Dodie Hunt Westmoreland, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 3, 2015.

Born in Greenville, SC, on September 8, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Fred Jefferson and Pauline Hendrix Hunt. She was a childcare giver in her home for many years and a charter member of Praise Cathedral Church of God.

Surviving:

Survivors include two sons, Scott Waddell (Bobbi) of Greer and Chris Waddell (Debbie) of Taylors; one daughter, Paula Westmoreland of the home; two grandchildren, Kristian and Kaitlyn Waddell; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Rev. Fred Jefferson :Jeff" Hunt (Nancy) of Greenville and Al Hunt (Crystal) of Taylors.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Praise Cathedral, conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden and Pastor Bobby Johnson.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held Tuesday at the church from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
