Shelby Jean O'Shields Johnson, a native of Spartanburg County, died February 20, 2019. She was 80.
Married to the late Ed Johnson, she was the daughter of the late Cynthia Weona Becknell and Russell Leroy O'Shields of Woodruff.
Johnson was a retired employee of Carolina Fashion in Mauldin and former employee of Steador of Taylors.
Surviving:
Johnson was survived by one sister, Mary Wallace Burch of Greer. Also surviving are three daughters Janie (Vernon) Smith, Cindy Godfrey, both of Greer, and Maryann Ledford Harris (Ricky) of Campobello, and one son Russell Steen (Kathy) of Union; 11 grandchildren, Michelle Blackwell, Randy Smith, Sarah Pack, Mitchell Steen, Lisa Agnew, Paulette Johnson, Jason Smith, Jennifer Steen, Kayla Cutshall, Heather Smith, Bobby Bowlin and 34 great grand children.
She was predeceased by one brother, Robert (CB) O'Shields of Laurens, one sister Ruby Wildes of Greer, one daughter Elsie Steen Bowlin, and one granddaughter Melissa Bowlin Laws.
Funeral Services:
Johnson was under Interim Hospice care.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
