Stanley "Stan" Marvin Coster, 71, passed away May 14, 2024.

Born in Columbia, South Carolina and a native of Greer, he was a son of the late Marvin Young Coster (Marion) and Maurice Dillard Greene (Don).

Stan was the smiling face of the family business, Great Bay Oyster House, and a member of The Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Diane Lane Christofferson of the home; a daughter, Kristen Coster (Justin) of Lyman; a step-daughter, Katie Gambrel (Shaun) of Greer; a brother, J.D. Burke (Susan) of Campobello; a sister, Connie Groves (Gene) of Roper, North Carolina; and four grandchildren, Landon, Olivia, Micah, and Easton.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Memorial United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Leslie Ferguson Horvath.

Honorary escorts will be Terry Dobson, Alex Dobson, Dean Kimbrell, Charles Phillips, Sam Howell, Tommy Norris, Bo Edwards, Billy Lynn, the employees of Great Bay Oyster House, and the employees of Beltram.

Visitation will be held 4 - 7 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2024, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
