A native of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, but lived most of her life in the Greenville, South Carolina area, daughter of the late Erwin and Martha Sue Scism Hughes.

Surviving:

Surviving are her sister, Anita Hughes Moreland; uncle and aunt, Henry and Shirley Oliver; and many cousins.

Funeral Services:

The family will be at the home of her sister.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
