Theron Douglas Hart, 79, of 306 Snow Street, died October 14, 2014 at his home.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late James A. and Effie Leila Pittman Hart, he was a retired employee of Mohawk Manufacturing, a US Marine and a member of People?s Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Gaylon and JoAnn Hart of Sherrills Ford, N.C.; four grandchildren, Kristin, Thomas, Craig and Sean, and special friend, Gail Rollins; one brother, Charles "Chili" Hart of Greenville; three sisters Mae Hart, Gerlene Brown and Dottie Seay and one sister-in-law, Rosa Lee Lister all of Greer.

Mr. Hart was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Hart and Randall Hart and two sisters, Hazel Welchel and Irene Hart.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at People's Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Larry Padgett. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Honorary escort will be J.D. Parris Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Wood Mortuary.
The families are at their respective homes.
