William Dever Lynn, 82, passed away January 21, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Clinton and Grace Gosnell Lynn. He was retired from Homelite, a Veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard and a member of Washington Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving is his wife of 59 years Evelyn Arms Lynn of the home; one daughter, Candace L. Rathbone (Rusty) of Greer; one son, Jeffrey W. Lynn (Becky) of Greer; three grandchildren, Ally Rathbone, Justin Lynn and Lauren Lynn (Fiancee Alex Reece).

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Washington Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Drew Hines and Rev. Joe Price.

Burial will follow after the service at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at held after the service at the cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dennis Ridgeway, Dennis Cook, Jason Lynn, Mike Arms, Rusty Rathbone, Jeffrey Lynn, Justin Lynn and Alex Reece.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ronnie Knight Sunday School Class, Phil Waters, Jimmy Burrell, James Pennington and nephews.

The family is at the home.

The body will lie in state from 2:00-7:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family respectfully request that social distancing guidelines be followed and mask be worn.
