William "Bill" Francis Yancey, 84, passed away January 20, 2022.

A native of Clarksville, Virginia; a son of the late Edward Thomas and Ruth
Sizemore Yancey; he was a 1971 graduate of Piedmont Bible College where he
obtained the honor of Outstanding Senior Award; U.S. Army Veteran; former
employee of Roadway Express and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Donna Rae Hilker Yancey of the home; one daughter,
Donielle Yancey Scholes (William) of Raleigh, North Carolina; one brother,
Richard Yancey of Clarksville, Virginia; three sisters, Lillian Hughes (Don),
Evelyn Brinkley (William) and Linda Hoblitz (Dennis) and two grandchildren,
Abigail Scholes and Corban Scholes.

Funeral Services:

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at The Wood
Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Dennis Hoblitz. A private committal service
will be held for the family.

Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Monday at the mortuary prior to
the service.
