William Lewis Harvey, 78, of 120 Brookdale Drive, died February 11, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional for Restorative Care.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Garland L. and Jessie Elliott Harvey, he was a retired employee of Hoechst Celanese and a member of Lyman First Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife Bootsie Harvey of the home; two sons, Craig Harvey of Lyman and Dean Harvey of Lake Balboa, CA; one brother-in-law, Cody Forrester of Wellford; one sister, Joan Brady of Inman and two grandchildren, Adam Harvey and Elise Harvey.

Mr. Lewis was predeceased by his two sisters, Mary Owens and Barbara Forrester.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Lyman First Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Scott Stancil, Rev. J.N. McFadden and Rev. Jim Carey. Burial will follow in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Dallas Sims, Brian Ward, Stephen Coggins, Richard Lester, Lindy Owens and Ricky Cothran.

Honorary escort will be the ladies and the gentlemen of the Department 5 Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Sunday at Lyman First Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of the son, Craig Harvey, 309 Mountain View Circle, Lyman, S.C. 29365.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lyman First Baptist Church, 80 Groce Road, Lyman, S.C.
