Panthers return to Wofford for summer camp
The Carolina Panthers announced today they will return to Wofford College in July for the NFL team’s 26th season of summer training camp in Spartanburg.

Training camp will begin on July 27 and continue into mid-August. Practice schedules will be announced by the Panthers at a later date.

The Panthers held the first camp in Spartanburg in 1995, its inaugural season. The NFL restricted teams to their home fields last year because of COVID-19 protocols.

The Panthers are constructing its new headquarters and practice facility in Rock Hill. The Panthers are planning the facility to be finished in the spring of 2023. That gives Wofford an opportunity to host a summer camp in 2022.

Carolina announced it was returning to 100% capacity at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte for all home games. No masks are scheduled to be required or proof of vaccinations.
