Rail moves at the Greer Inland Port Greer totaled 9,180 last month, the South Carolina Ports Authority reported Monday.The 54,072 rail lifts since July, brings the facility's rail volume up to 28 percent over the same period last year.
The inland port handled a record 103,639 rail lifts in 2016, an increase of 38 percent over the previous calendar year. The inland port averaged 8,886 rail moves a month in 2016.
A total of 110,000 rail lifts are projected for the Greer in fiscal 2017.
