Manda Packing Company, a Baker, La., firm is expanding its recall to include 468,000 pounds of meat due to possible contamination, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The expanded recall includes products of roast beef, ham, turkey breast, tasso pork, ham shanks, hog head cheese, corned beef and pastrami due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) announced Saturday.
South Carolina is included in the list of states where the meat products were shipped. Other states include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
