Daniel Dobbs studied culinary arts at Johnson and Wales and has worked at restaurants throughout the Upstate. He was a chef at Ember until it closed unexpectedly in May and previously worked at Great Bay Oyster House on Poinsett Street.
"We wanted to feature barbeque on our menu from the start," said Blevins, "and we are now fortunate to team up with Dobbs who had the same vision for offering Greer patrons another dinner option featuring locally grown products that are healthy and delicious. We are excited to offer barbeque on our menu but don’t expect your standard run of the mill pulled pork sandwich and ribs.”
Rhythm & Brews is offering barbeque plate specials for the next two weeks and will launch its new menu on Tuesday, Aug. 21, three days before the Sooiet’ Relief BBQ festival.
"People know that if they are thirsty and want to listen to some incredible live music, Rhythm & Brews is the place to come. Now if they are in the mood for good smoked barbeque you don’t have to leave Trade Street. We will still be offering our famous jumbo wings and many other menu favorites to still be included with the barbeque."
Rhythm & Brews is located at 213 Trade Street and is open Tuesday through Saturday offering dinner service at 4 p.m.
