Records: Woodmont 0-2, Riverside 1-1.

Series: Riverside leads 3-1.

Nickname/colors:

Woodmont Wildcats, Royal blue and white

Riverside Warriors: Royal Blue and Red

Weather: Cloudy, 75 degrees at kickoff, thunderstorms likely, 80 percent chance of rain, rainfall may total 1 inch.

Head coaches: Woodmont, Ned Cutherbertson. Riverside: Phil Smith, 2nd year, 1-12

Last week: Woodmont lost to Mauldin 28-14. Riverside lost to Greer 35-7.

What to look for: The Warriors got worn down last week against No. 7 ranked and rival Greer. Woodmont has been outscored 90-14. Robert Morrow had 7 receptions but for only 28 yards for Riverside. Woodmont QB Jonathan Sis threw for 80 yards and a TD last week.

Warrior Nation: The Riverside student body re-introduced itsmascot, Warrior, last week. The cheering section has been one of the best in the Upstate early in the season. In the season opener Warrior Nation was declared the winner in a sing-off versus Eastside during the National Anthem. Their signing with the Marching Band last week got the crowd to join in for an impressive rendition.
