Riverside Middle School’s Greenville Remembers Team Sponsor, Hale Edwards, and team member. Antoine Kahaleh, were honored to meet Retired Brigadier General Gerald McIIlmoyle at the Memorial Service for Rudolf Anderson. General McIIlomoyle was one of the U2 pilots who flew missions over Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Antoine Kahaleh and Lindsey Wise, both members of Riverside Middle School’s Greenville Remembers Team, were speakers at the 50th Anniversary Memorial Service for Maj. Rudolf Anderson. Maj. Anderson was the lone casualty of the Cuban Missile Crisis and was from Greenville.
Parents, teachers, students and staff are invited to have dinner and share the book Wonder by RJ Palacio.
Dinner will be catered by Salsaritas in the cafeteria from 5:30 to 6:30. The cost of dinner is $8.49 per person and payment is due to Andi Fansher, Media Specialist, by Nov. 30. (Checks should be made payable to RMS.) Anyone who wants to attend needs to register online by Nov. 30:
