Recently 37 students from Riverside Middle School attended the State Model United Nations Conference at Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC.  

The students brought home awards for having their proposals presented at the General Assembly, having their proposal presented in the Plenary Session, for Outstanding Written Proposal, Outstanding Festival of Nations Booth, Outstanding Native Attire, and for Outstanding Statesmanship.
