The Riverside High School Speech and Debate Team won the Queen City Tournament at Charlotte Catholic High School in Pineville, N.C., on Saturday.
Riverside beat out 30 schools from four states.
Individual event champions include Shalyn Drakeford in Novice Reading, Andrei Robu in Expository Speaking, and Allie Watts in Informative Speaking.
