Riverside Middle School will host its annual Community Spirit Night on Thursday, March 26 from 5-7:30 p.m.
Local restaurants will have food available for purchase, and you can learn more about local community services.
All spring sports teams will be playing against rival Northwood Middle School; the Model United Nations will present its Festival of Nations; and Media, Visual Arts and Design classes will be presenting their projects. (Flier attached)
With help from BJU, students study Middle Ages
Educational coordinators from Bob Jones University's Museum and Gallery taught a mini lesson on the Middle Ages to Jan Coty's 6th-grade social studies class.
The class went over important information about the Middle Ages and took part in a hands-on activity in which they created their own illuminated letter.
They also viewed examples of period art and created a class version of a family shield.
