Ross, 19, Lyman soldier, killed in Afghanistan

U.S. Army Pfc. Adam C. Ross, 19, of Lyman died Tuesday, in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when he encountered small arms fire, reported the U.S. Department of Defense. Ross is a graduate of Byrnes High School and his family is a member of Airport Baptist Church in Greer.
